About This Event
Write Angle intends to host to celebrate 'Aazadi ka Amrut Mahotsav' and 75 years of Indian independence. The theme for the essays will be centred around the struggle for freedom, and contestants will be allowed to choose one of two topics to write their essays on. These include "The Butterfly Effect: Dandi March" and "Blood in the Place of Ink - Literature, Independence, and the Vernacular", which are intended to allow participants the chance to broaden their knowledge and inform themselves about the cultural significance of the freedom struggle.
Participants are expected to send in their submissions by the 5th of April, 2021. Cash prizes of Rs. 1500 each will also be awarded to the winner in each category.
