Shubham is a Vice President at Goldman Sachs and currently manages the Securities Lending and Synthetic Trading team in Bangalore.

In his current role, he works with onshore traders to provide cash and synthetic equity financing to hedge fund clients globally.

In his 7+ years at Goldman Sachs he has worked across various Equities Trading and Fixed Income Asset Management roles, including as a product manager for the Goldman Sachs Emerging Market Debt Fund and as a life cycle specialist for Structured Derivatives.

He’s a CFA charterholder and FRM level 2 candidate.

He graduated from PESIT in 2015 in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Some of his accomplishments are:

• He co-founded the PES entrepreneurship cell in 2013.
• He was chairman of IEEE PESIT student branch
• Was head of technical events at Aatmatrisha 2014
• And co founded CopyEd which was a online educational notes startup for PESIT engineering branches (ran from 2013-15)
